F5Bot is a free keyword monitoring service. It emails you when someone mentions your keywords on Reddit, Hacker News or Lobsters.
Best for
Indie developers who want to know right away when their product, a competitor or a related topic is being discussed.
Highlights
- Completely free: sign up and add keywords.
- Covers both posts and comments, with timely alerts.
- Exclusion words and exact matching reduce noise.
Watch for
Alerts arrive only by email, with no dashboard. Common words generate a lot of mail, so narrow them with conditions.
